As bigger and faster all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) have been introduced over the past decade, ATV-related deaths and injuries have increased substantially in every age group. This session will examine the issue from different perspectives, including consumer groups and the federal government who are calling for increased ATV safety measures. Safe Kids will also discuss its recommendation that children under the age of 16 should never ride or operate ATVs of any size, including youthsized ATVs.
